This is such a good question that I also posted it here on the influencerTips blog to share with all influencerTips members https://www.influencer.tips/crafting-and-emailing-your-next-blog-post-on-ghost-a-step-by-step-guide/ - the post on the blog also contains extra information like formatting and publishing tips.
First, what is a Ghost blog?
At influencerTips, we recommend using Ghost as a platform for content, subscriber and email automation management. You can read more about Ghost here https://ghost.org/

Hi Panda123 - as one of Matt’s subscribers and followers I can assure you that you couldn’t be in better “hands and mind” to help you get started writing a blog.
I was in your position 7 years ago though I did have a little knowledge having already built my firwt website to showcase my paintings. But when Matt suggested I start writing a bog I completely rejected the idea partly because I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to learn “how to do it” and also I wasn’t that keen at the time with being part of social media platforms etc.
I can now say that it was one of the best experiences I have ever been involved with and Matt and I, 7 years on, are still the best of friends. I’ve stopped writing the daily, or near daily posts after 7 years (there’s a challenge for anyone to try to beat!!!) but I am now building with Matt a new site just for once again showcasing my paintings. And once more Matt is there with his wonderful tech support and other ideas - my blog team call him The Interwebs Wizard!!
But back to writing a blog. I totally agree with Matt that you have to be consistent and frequent in posting because this is the way you attract followers. I also agree that it is best to keep the posts fairly short as most followers don’t want to read endless lines of your thoughts. And lastly, I think it is very important to include images (obviously in my AnArt4Life blog it was predominantly images) but I think any blog needs images as we live in a visual world.
Good luck with what you are doing - and do have fun!!
Thanks @Anne for a couple of kind words there, the key takeaway - have fun blogging - you will meet so many people with interesting points of view on the journey.
